Food For Thought: An Exit Story - Doubling the Value before Sale

Join us for an exclusive and enlightening dinner event.

Sal Pajwani and Sophie Surowiak-Long are going to tell the story of how What If sold to Accenture for a price that they couldn’t have dreamed of just a few years earlier. 

The funny thing is that in 2017, the company nearly sold to Salesforce - for around two thirds of that price. They would have happily taken the deal, but Salesforce ended up pulling out at the last minute. What If  had spent 6 months and over a million dollars of their own cash getting ready to sell. But one phone call sent the whole thing up in smoke.

The evening will unfold as follows:

  • 6:30pm: Arrival and welcome from Home Grown
  • 6:45pm: Guests to be seated & introductions
  • 7:10pm: Starter served
  • 7:30pm: Presentation continues
  • 8:00pm: Main served
  • 8:30pm: Q&A followed by dessert selection and coffee

Tickets are £50 each including VAT, they include a three course meal and half a bottle of wine.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-tradeable.
